“Come Home For Chinese New Year”
Monday, February 4th, 2008 |My sister just called.
Her : “Hey, when are you coming back? We are lacking a player for Mahjong.”
Me : “I’ll be home on Wednesday because I have classes to attend.”
Her : “Don’t need to attend classes already lah, everyone went home for Chinese New Year.”
Me : “True, I went to a class just now and I was the only student around.”
Her : “See? Come home lah. I wanna swim.”
Me : “Swim?”
Her : “Mahjong!”
Me : “I can’t promise to go back early, because I have classes to attend. Besides, I missed all of last week’s classes due to chicken pox.”
Her : “Then when can you come back?”
Me : “There will be a class tonight to discuss if we should have a class on Wednesday. Then there is a two-hour class tomorrow that I should attend.”
Her : “Haiyo. Two hours only, can skip lah.”
Me : “I can’t. I missed last week’s classes, remember?”
Her : “Sigh, ok. So when can you come back”
Me : “If Wednesday no class then I’ll be home Tuesday before dinner.”
Her : “Oh ok.”
Me : “Alright.”
