Maple Story Marathon

I played Maple Story until I lost track of time. I missed meals and turned my sleeping hours upside down just to advance my in-game character. When I first played Maple Story about a year ago, it was just another MMORPG to me. At that time, Ragnarok was pretty hot too, but it didn’t impress me much. I played for about an hour, and quited the game altogether. I think I didn’t like the game because of its graphics, and the fact that some high-level players get too cocky for their own good didn’t help much either.
Then I tried out Maple Story. It felt quite different to Ragnarok, so I managed to stay in the game for about a week or so. I was a total noob then, pumping Dexterity instead of Luck for thieves. My reason was pretty simple, I was a big big fan of Diablo I and II, and in both of those games, dexterity was one of the most important attributes that needed pumping (I always play archer, liked that Lightning Bow a little too much). When I realized my err, my thief was already level 17. It was kinda late to save my thief. So I left the game quietly.
Last week when I was at my hometown, my brother installed the client software into the home computer. He urged me to sign in my account, and it was a miracle that I could still remember how to log in. I didn’t want to use the thief anymore, so I created a new character. I decided to play as a warrior, so I made sure I rolled up some good stats before continuing.
Since then, I’ve been playing Maple Story everyday. I even spent study week leveling my warrior up to level 10, where he could become a fully-fledged swordsman. After the completion of quests by the tons, the swordsman is now a Spearman, having progressed to a 2nd job. He is now a level 33 character with loads more of quests to complete. I’ll have a hard time leveling him up to 70, where a 3rd job can be chosen. I wonder if I could ever go that far.
Thank God this is the holidays so I don’t have lectures or tutorials to worry about.
